CONTINUOUS RETENTION

Surveillance-Grade Reliability Engineered for 24/7/365

Standard computer hard disks fail within months under continuous CCTV write streams. We supply strictly certified surveillance drives.

Dedicated Surveillance Hard Drives

We deploy 1TB to 16TB Western Digital Purple and Seagate SkyHawk drives featuring AllFrame technology, preventing video frame drops during simultaneous multi-camera writes.

H.265+ Advanced Compression

Double your recording retention days without extra hard drives. H.265+ intelligently compresses static scene backgrounds while preserving high-bitrate clarity on moving humans and vehicles.

Rapid Synchronous Video Playback

Search by timeline, motion tag, or camera channel. Export police-ready watermarked video clips directly to USB pen drives or local network folders in seconds.

DVR vs. NVR: Key Architecture Differences

Both are dependable, but cater to different cabling infrastructure and scalability needs.

Feature Digital Video Recorder (DVR) Network Video Recorder (NVR)
Camera Input Analog HD cameras via coaxial cables (BNC ports) IP digital network cameras via Ethernet Cat6 (RJ45 ports)
Video Processing Encoding done on the DVR chip inside the recorder Encoding done at camera sensor level, digital stream saved directly
PoE Switch Integration Requires separate external 12V SMPS power supply Built-in PoE ports or connected via external Gigabit network switch
Max Supported Resolution Up to 5MP / 4K on high-end DVR models Native 4K Ultra-HD (8MP) and 12MP panoramic cameras
Best Suited For Budget-friendly homes, small retail shops, retrofitting older wiring New home constructions, multi-floor offices, gated villa compounds
STORAGE FAQS

DVR & NVR Frequently Asked Questions

Essential guidance on storage lifespans, drive formatting, and backups.

We strongly advise against it. Desktop hard drives are engineered for 8 hours of light intermittent daily usage (70% read, 30% write). CCTV recorders run 24 hours non-stop with 95% constant write workloads. A desktop drive will overheat and corrupt data within 6-12 months. Dedicated surveillance drives (WD Purple, SkyHawk) are built to withstand high temperatures and continuous loop writes.

Our DVRs and NVRs are configured with automated "Loop Overwrite" mode. When the drive fills up, the oldest day of footage is automatically rewritten by the newest footage. You will always maintain a continuous rolling window of the most recent 15, 30, or 60 days of video.

Simply insert a standard USB pen drive into the front port of the recorder. Use the mouse to select the date, time interval, and camera channel, then click "Export". The video is saved as a standard MP4 or AVI file with an embedded tamper-proof digital timestamp.
